Toshiba Recalls 41,000 Laptops
Toshiba and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have announced a recall of 41,000 notebook computers due to the potential for computers to overheat and burn consumers. The CPSC reports the computers can overheat at the adapter plug and melt the plastic casing. Toshiba has reported 129 claims of overheating including two reports of minor burn injuries that did not require medical attention.
