Toyota Issues Repair Program for Prius

Toyota Motors has announced a repair program for more than 375,000 Prius hybrids to fix defects in the cars' cooling systems. The repair program, which the company insists is not a recall, affects cars from years 2004 to 2007. Toyota says the "water pump can let air bubbles into the cooling system, which can slow the circulation of coolant and allow excessive heat to build up," posing an overheating risk.  Jonathan Welsh, WSJ Blogs  11/30/2010
